The strength of this work lies in its suggestion of space.

Through a few simple fields of colour, an optical illusion of depth emerges, as if the image were opening onto an architectural space beyond the surface, somewhere between reality and perception.

The warmth of the natural wood contrasts with ultramarine and cobalt blue, while the bright yellow adds an accent of light. Together, the colours enhance the sense of space and allow natural light to play an active role.

A restrained composition in which simplicity, colour and perspective come together.
