The circle continues to intrigue me through its balance and apparent simplicity.

In this composition, two circles engage in a quiet dialogue. Their difference in size and position creates a subtle tension, while blue-grey, cobalt blue, white and black bring the composition together.

At first glance, the composition appears simple, but the longer you look, the more the relationships between the forms, the spaces between them and the colours begin to emerge.

In this way, the work continues to move between simplicity and complexity.
